ARE YOU READY FOR THE BLUE ANGELS?

Posted by on Thu, Aug 2, 2012 at 9:35 AM

Because at 10am they are going to be ripping through the skies for freedom!!!

Before you accidentally join the Navy, consider drowning out the racket with Iron Maiden's "Aces High"—a song about WWII air battles! Lead singer Bruce Dickinson is obsessed with airplanes and flying airplanes and being around airplanes all the time and once flew a plane to Lebabnon and rescued 200 stranded Brits! What? Yes!

For more on Iron Maiden and airplanes (and golf), see last week's Sound Check .

@2 - Sean was it the Blue Angels? Or the uniform? That uniform is a good excuse to wear a weird little hat.

@4 - Definitely the uniforms. Bell bottoms + funny hats = sign me up!

Run To The Hills may have been even more appropriate.

God, I love Iron Maiden.
