The new Soft Moon track, "Die Life," doesn't sound radically different than anything main man Luis Vasquez has done before, including this single with John Foxx, but he did work with a full band this time (he recorded 2010's Soft Moon on his own).
If Zeros, as a whole, sounds anything like the song below, i.e. Peter Hook conducting a seance with Savage Republic in a haunted house, circa 1982, I suspect I'll fall for it just as hard as 2011's Total Decay EP.
Captured Tracks releases Zeros on October 30, 2012. Soft Moon plays Barboza with Group Rhoda on December 19 (8pm, $10 advance, 21+).
