Decibel Decibel Festival Extends Boat Party Schedule to 4 Days

Decibel Festival is doubling in length its popular boat party events from two to four days this year. These shows are not included in the Decibel pass and space is limited, so if you want to attend any of them, you should probably act quickly. You can purchase tickets at the links below, where the lineups are. The inclusion of former Skull Disco artist Appleblim is especially exciting (check out a video by him after the cut). Overall, the bills for these parties is varied and high quality—encompassing house, techno, grime, funk, hiphop, and post-dubstep—not your typical lightweight boat-party fare by a long stretch.

I'm biased, but Appleblim's 2010 set at the Baltic Room was one of the best sets I've ever heard. I remember the moment that he played Objekt's 'Tinderbox' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xozMkGpiP…) a few months before it came out - I lost my shit when the synth parts creep in (Objekt is playing at this year's dB too). Add to that, you'll never meet a nicer guy - he's absolutely one of the most extraordinarily genuine people in a DJ world where that is very hard to come by.
