The Sound of a Star Being Sucked Into a Black Hole

Professor of Astronomy at the University of Michigan Dr. Jon Miller and his associates hypothesize on what it would sound like when a star gets consumed by a super massive black hole 3.9 billion light years away. All in a day's work, right? The result, however, is not as heavy as you might expect, although it does sort of resemble a Goblin soundtrack for a giallo film.

I remember listening to this whole thing hoping they would have something to listen to, but no! Just some synth notes being played on a keyboard. There is no actual sound of the star. Just a lame-ass unimaginative copout "We can't listen to it, because we humans can't hear those frequencies, but imagine if we could!" Get that data away from that scientist and into the hands of any competent electronic musician and it will be easy to make something to listen to (though it may not be scientifically accurate). Scale and transpose, yo!
