Backstreet Boys, the best selling boy band of all time, is reuniting for their 20th anniversary. Over the past 20 years, they’ve sold over 130 million albums. Now, they have a new album, and are doing a world tour. They're also getting a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. This Friday, they play in New York’s Central Park at 8 AM (EST) for Good Morning America.

I made four calls attempting to interview Nick Carter. Finally someone talked to me. I’m not sure if it was Carter or not.

What the fuck are you doing?

We're beyond excited to perform for our fans for such a special occasion. Being back together again and seeing how excited the fans are, gets all five of us really energized for all of the great stuff coming up.

No really, what the fuck are you doing?

What?

You heard me.

Actually I didn’t hear you.

You aren’t boys anymore.

Apparently, you're still not aware of the concept of "low hanging fruit".

Casual Observer, I apologize. I've let you down with my 11 second low hanging fruit interview with someone I wasn't sure was Nick Carter. Please accept my apology.

What makes you laugh? What do you do for fun? Are you a Backstreet Boys fan?

Beach Boys. Oak Ridge Boys. Pet Shop Boys. Enough said.

What makes me laugh? I guess just that you continue to stick with this "interview bands I obviously don't care about and then try to mess with them" format, like you think it's some sort of undiscovered comedy gold. It's not. It's sophomoric and, again, low hanging fruit. At least lead these people down some sort of wormhole before you shout "BABABOOEY! BABABOOEY!" at them.

"Casual",

You didn't answer any of the questions. You just sound like a republican politician. What a pile of fun you must be! It's a blog post you fucking asshole. Trent said he made 4 calls trying to interview him and he wasn't sure he was actually speaking to Nick Carter. Trent interviews bands all the time, check it out, there are hundreds of them. It makes my day that people like you get in such a tizzy about a blog post. Yes I am laughing at you. Thank you.

So tell us, what makes you laugh, since a blog post about Backstreet Boys doesn't. I'm curious.

What do you do for fun?

If you're so good at interviews, why are you an anonymous commenter? Show us where we can see some of your writing and interviews. Put your money where your mouth is.
