Eighteen Individual Eyes Traded Their Guitars for Exploding Stars

I could hear Eighteen Individual Eyes soundchecking on Bumbershoot's Promanade stage while I sat in my apartment, debating whether or not I wanted to head down to the festival right at noon. Their siren call convinced me that yes, yes I do want to leave the house and start the day.

The early afternoon sun kept hitting the band's instruments just right, making it look like they were playing exploding stars:


Someone in the crowd said "I like them. They remind me of a cross between the Decemberists and the Twilight Sad." Hmm.
