The Day That I Met William Bennett

Posted by on Fri, Sep 28, 2012 at 1:16 PM

William Bennett from Whitehouse & Cut Hands just came into the office where I work reception. I think he could tell that I was a megafandork by the way I was stammering that I had seen Whitehouse in the mid-1990s in Cleveland. Soon, a small group of people surrounded him and were talking about the Cut Hands set at Melrose Market Studio last night, which was part of the Modern Love Showcase. I waited for a lull in conversation and asked if I could have my picture taken with him. He obliged, William Bennett is rather polite!

According to this blog post, William Bennett recently watched Dorothy Stratten: The Untold Story, the 1985 documentary that tells the real story of the film Star 80. The Internet can tell you almost anything!

Below is my favorite video footage of Whitehouse. If you missed the Cut Hands set last night, you're out of luck to see Bennett again soon, the next show is on October 2nd in Berlin.
