Non-Oblig Monday Chicago House Music Post

Posted by on Mon, Oct 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM

During the Don't Talk to the Cops' set on Saturday at Neumos, "I'm Going Back to Chicago" was mixed with "Let No Man Put Asunder" by First Choice (the Shep Pettibone version, I think). I'm not sure if this is a new addition to the DTTTC track or if it was always there and I just never noticed it. One thing is clear, it certainly has caused an entire day of listening to Chicago House for me.

If you're not already a fan of house music, click here for an excellent Julian Jumpin' Perez mix that was on WBMX in 1987. If you like that, hunt down the tracks off of this post-disco / proto house list. They're totally incredible, the next thing you know you're listening to Jago's "I'm Going to Go" REALLY REALLY LOUD.
