Blue Sky Black Death & Nacho Picasso - "Public Enemy"

I'm waiting in line at the Alaska Airlines counter, about to leave for Mexico City. It's turned into a hell of a line, so I'm glad we got here early. I'd be gladder, of course, if any actual Alaska employees were here to man the counter, though. Listening to music on my phone is all I got at the moment—that or playing another level of Crystal Castles. M.I.A.'s "Galang" comes on. Shotgun, get down. I think of the video, a mad-young-looking Maya A. prancing through a colorful, lo-res third world war.

Blue Sky Black Death just sent me the link to this grimy-looking new video for one of my very favorites off of theirs and Nacho's Exalted release. Strangely enough, its clips of vintage G.I. Joe's color-coded warfare reminds me of that "Galang" clip. BSBD flip a Bomb Squad-made PE interlude, adding a liberal pour of sludgy, tar-like menace, which Nacho positively revels in, stirring up his unique, stoney slurry of pop-culture ("I'ma Problem Child, no freckles") and bad-ass ("if you die without a car, I'ma key your coffin"). If you somehow haven't peeped Exalted yet, this guy might just call your crib, "voice baritone, 'yo, is Sarah home?'"
