Zeta Barber - "Pluto's Tide"

Posted by on Wed, Oct 17, 2012 at 11:01 AM

New Seattle collective Care Package presents another promising track for your free-downloading pleasure. “Pluto’s Tide” by local artist Zeta Barber (check out his SoundBody album done with the Forces of Nature) is one of the freshest, darkest, 206-centric slabs of electronic music in recent years. Mixed by Sean Suttikeeree, "Pluto's Tide" is a bulbous, exotic, methodically paced species of instrumental hiphop that recalls the ill heyday of WordSound Records; I can imagine Sensational rapping on it, and nobody else. It sounds as if dub and funk got together in a back alley and pummeled each other with nunchakus. So wicked.
