I Reckon I Need to Get That King Crimson Remaster of Red

Posted by on Mon, Nov 19, 2012 at 1:39 PM

As I kinda don't look too much at new CDs any longer—uh...no shops are willing to stock what I'm lurking for—I had NO idea the King Crimson catalog had been reissued and remastered, with bonus tracks and all that kinda shit. Dig this stripped down version of "Red," a bonus from the 2009 remaster of King Crimson's Red.

So...RAW!! And here I thought, had been told perhaps, downloading killed the reissue/remaster industry.

I thought they already WERE a trio on "Red". This is one of my favorite instrumentals, I gotta get the re-mastered CD, too.

Wow. This song always makes me visualize flying over a city at night, like a helicopter shot in a film. Preferably a sinister looking City of the Future in a sci-fi film.
