Upcoming Havana's Soul on Pike: I-502 Pre-Funk Party, Dec. 6

The combination of I-502 initiative (legalization of marijuana, stoner) going into effect and Charles Bradley & the Menahan Street Band playing across the street at Neumos on Thurs. Dec. 6 made wise KEXP DJ Greg Vandy (host of The Roadhouse) decide to throw a pre-funk party at Havana from 7:30 pm-9:30 pm. After that, he will join DJs Nitty Gritty (Garrett Lunceford) and Self-Administered Beatdown (Scott Giampino) for the popular weekly soul/funk throwdown, Sophisticated Mama. The combined knowledge and excellent record collections of these guys guarantees high times.
