What is the Best Way to Report Stolen Gear to Seattle Area Pawn Shops?

When musical equipment is stolen, what is the best way to notify Seattle area / Washington State pawn shops?

Is there a single place or website that is tied into all Washington State pawn shops, that notifies them of stolen gear?

I went through this a few years back. When I called local pawn shops, asking them if they'd seen my gear, they told me they report all serial numbers of all goods to the police and hold those goods until they hear back from the police that there'd been no reports of them being stolen.

So, the only way I know is to report it to the police. That said, I never got my shit back.
