This Is Not Polvo, This Is Quicksilver Messenger Service

Posted by on Tue, Dec 11, 2012 at 1:29 PM

I'd bet money that the boys in Polvo, in 1992, had never listened to Quicksilver Messenger Service. However, listening to this track, you might not believe me. "The Fool" was the last song on the first Quicksilver Messenger Service album, Quicksilver Messenger Service. What a great song to end the album.

And yeah, I KNOW, I obviously seem to believe Quicksilver Messenger Service had some magic weight influencing indie rock, perhaps way more than ANY other group, ever. YEAH!! Aw...relax, it's just a theory, y'all; plus, I really love Quicksilver...so, there.
