Nick Waterhouse's Rewrite of Them's Garage Standard "I Can Only Give You Everything"

Posted by on Tue, Dec 18, 2012 at 1:40 PM

Dig, Nick Waterhouse smartly reimagines "I Can Only Give You Everything" as a solid R&B/popcorn jam.

Not bad, junior. With a crisper mid-'60s production, it could'a been made to sound right in London, 1965... still, not bad.

* I reckon this post might be considered a bit of old news as this song was issued on Waterhouse's LP, Times All Gone, in May of this year; I just got around to it. See, new jams, even action as razor sharp as this is, just don't rate too high on my gotta-hear list. I guess I prolly oughta get the LP, too, then... It's solid.

Waterhouse is a badass. Love the whole Hanni El Khatib, Allah-lahs, Waterhouse (we're so cool we only release .45s) set.
