It's not hard to be obsessed with an enduring talent like Ms. Bettye LaVette. A soul singer who has been going strong for over 50 years. Anyways, dig this clip; from an an era of lip syncing on TV this is Ms. Lavette fucking singing "Let Me Down Easy" LIVE.
So much soul, it's brutal. That voice...godamn. Also: My ballad obsession.
