With a powerful, smoky set of pipes and bars/voice reminiscent of Eve, Seattle-based singer/rapper/songwriter known as Dice has made her name authoritatively known around here over the last couple years via guest appearances, a few mixtapes, and a collaborative EP. Her full-length, definitive statement, Reflections In Broken Glass, is out now—it's a strong and original outing of modern soul/R&B complemented with hiphop flourishes via New Orleans' ex-No Limit soldier/current Jet Life-r Fiend, Seattle's RA Scion, Tacoma's Second Family, and more. Tonight is her CD release at Barboza featuring Xperience, Gift Uh Gab, Camila Recchio, WataBoy Music Group, and DJ Vitamin D, who produced four tracks on her new album, including the single "Flat Tire," whose video you might've noticed in this post.
