It recently came to my attnetion that an awful act called E4rth has done a cover of R.E.M.'s "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)." This is the epitome of a cheap cash-in on a phenomenon that was bullshit from the get-go. (I also wonder how Dylan Carlson feels about the project name.) Now let this be the end of all blather about apocalypse... until we're absolutely certain the world's on the brink of extinction—the first hint will be when Charles Mudede cleans his desk.
