A Drag Queen “Work-It” Shop by Jerick Hoffer
Saturday, January 19, 2013, from 11 am - 4 pm
Balagan Theatre 1524 Harvard Ave. Seattle, WA 98122, ages 16+
$5 administrative fee, includes 2 comp. tickets to preview performances of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at The Moore Theatre. Reservations taken by Sarah Loritz, STG Community Programs Manager at 206.467.5510 ext. 1171.
The "Work-It" Shop
Jerick Hoffer, star of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Season V of RuPaul’s Drag Race, will conduct a drag queen workshop. Presented by Seattle Theatre Group and Balagan Theatre, this class will teach developing students the art of Drag/Female Impersonation from internal process, character development, and movement to makeup analysis and consultation. Students are asked to provide their own makeup.
