I'm Still a Virgin / Song Soviet Socialist Sike From the Group...um, Дос-Мукасан

HOLY CRAP...please, I BEG YOU to dig this insane track from fucking Kazakhstan!!! Lordy, just look at their outfits, who'da thunk these obvious NERDLINGERS could make such ferocious AND atmospheric sike...IN 1976. The song title, "Betpak Dala," translates into English as "Hungry Steppe."

Sounds like in Kazakhstan the year 1976 translated into 1967. Dunno how the rest of the LP rates, tho' by the looks of 'em they were a proper working band and thusly had the chops to play anything. Teh internets says they formed in 1967 when they were students at Kazakh Polytechnic Institute, you know, the one located in Alma-Ata.
