Rap As Obesity PSA: Sam Stomach's "80 Bites"

Posted by on Thu, Jan 17, 2013 at 12:13 PM

With obesity on the rise in America, Sam Stomach (possibly not his real name) offers a weighty rap about the dangers of gluttony with some common-sense advice on "80 Bites." The lyrics are stilted if well-meaning and Stomach's flow isn't the shit or anything, but the music's got a nice, fat bottom end and those eerie, spacey synths vaguely recall the ones in Benga & Coki's dubstep classic "Night." Overall, the message here is important and the project's goal of instructing people to take only 80 bites of food per day is sensible. Masticate on that, chubby.
