HMV, the British multinational entertainment retailing company, is currently in trouble. The media behemoth with 273 stores spread across 8 countries, has gone into administration. That's Brit-speak for their shit being all fucked up.

The Guardian has a great report about the situation. Ex-employee Philip Beeching published an informative memoir about seeing things fall apart from the inside as the company made a lot of bad decisions when faced with the digital age.
