Mr. Freddy King, the Texas Cannonball, ought NOT need no introduction. He is a man amongst men and women... that is, men and women who play the rock and/or roll guitar. Ms. Lula, or Lulu Reed, was a King label R&B singer in the '50s/early '60s. It was Reed who first sang "l'll Drown In My Own Tears" which Ray Charles would turn into a real slow burner, and chart hit, as "Drown In My Own Tears." ANYWAYS... King and Reed made an AWESOME team, cranking out some kick ass R&B...

Thankfully King and Reed were teamed together long enough to be afforded the luxury of recording an LP, Boy Girl Boy, together. That, along with all their 45s, makes for one whoop ass catalog.
