I'm stoked to end the week with a mid-tempo shuffler from this group, the Kare Takers. Dig the melodic lead.
This group's record label was from Youngstown, Ohio, as were the group...I suspect.

Yes, this combo was from Youngstown. Five guys, mostly 10th graders. The record 'label' WAM was later known as United Audio....they did package deals for bands to pay something like $300 for a couple hours of recording time and a few hundred records. Other bands that recorded there were Glass Harp (before their Decca LPs), Es-Shades, Vikings, Shaddows, Counts, Fortels, Next of Kinn, Hazards, Blues Inc
