This '60s garage uh...thing, or beat as it was best known, also came down hard in Europe. Tho' more "Mersey" inspired in their writing, generally, European groups have a slight atmospheric sound to their recordings. If I gotta guess I'd reckon too much reverb? Whatever, it works!! This group, the Haigs, were a group from the Hague, Netherlands. They were kinda prolific, for an also ran beat group, they had five singles in all.
"Where to Run" is quite the pulsating mover—their best track, I think. Another track "That's the Way She Is" is a testimony to the Kinks lerve while their "Hey Baby" is all bout the Small Faces!
