We The People were a group from Orlando,...(ahem) Florida. Eeeeewwwwwww, gross, FLORIDA?! I know, but before you get all upset 'cause, well, they're from goddamn FLORIDA...listen to this - "Mirror Of Your Mind."
DAMN! Yeah, so, unlike most anything/everything else "Florida," they should be forgiven. Oh, they're also known for the sweet fuzz jam "You Burn Me Up And Down." And if you own or have listened to the first Nuggets Box set, then these tracks ain't gonna be a surprise, as both are standouts.
We The People were active from about '65 till 1970; they were well managed, had solid promo, and "Mirror Of Your Mind" charted top 10 in a few local markets, but they never cracked nationally. That said, their catalog is solid; in fact Sundazed issued a double disc set Mirror Of Your Mind, a decade ago that rules ass; it's still in print.
