Debacle Fest Announces Partial Lineup, Other Details

Posted by on Fri, Feb 15, 2013 at 10:15 AM

The sixth annual Seattle experimental-music event Debacle Fest—run by Debacle Records' owner Sam Melancon—will take place May 3-5 at FRED Wildlife Refuge, Highline, and Lo-Fi Performance Gallery. Local non-profit internet station Hollow Earth Radio will serve as both partner and beneficiary of Debacle Fest.

Performers include John Wiese, Date Palms, Expo ‘70, Nate Young, Hieroglyphic Being, Golden Retriever, Total Life, MTNS, Brain Fruit, Panabrite, and Plankton Wat. Debacle will announce the full schedule March 1. This is typically one of the year's most interesting fests, featuring some of the region and country's most challenging and mind-expanding electronic, drone, improv, noise, psychedelic, and metal artists.

You can purchase three-day passes at Brown Paper Tickets and debaclefest.com for $40—a 33-percent discount.
