A Confusing Steve Miller Band Song From 1984 Played Almost Entirely on Keyboards

Posted by on Fri, Feb 22, 2013 at 9:29 AM

Was Steve Miller's "Italian X Rays" just AHEAD OF IT'S TIME? I can't tell.

It's weird 'cause no matter what this is STILL godamn motherfucking STEVE MILLER!! Yes, THEE space cowboy/gangster of lerve/maurice!! Oh, the song is from the LP also titled Italian X-Rays, an LP I've never have registered as ever having seen. Prolly not a stretch since I'm sure it sold ZERO. The only other tracks I can find from Italian X-Rays is "Golden Opportunity" and "Shangri-la"...uh, that shit ain't aged well as it's SOAKED in shitty '80s cliche', but the title track...not bad.

Weirdness.
The boy that broke my heart back in college happens to be working on the Steve Miller tour like...now.
And to answer your question, no. This oddity of a song is just a big fat anomaly.
