Nü Sensae Tonight!

Posted by on Sun, Mar 3, 2013 at 6:25 PM

I've been hearing "so I'll see you at that Nü Sensae show, right?" all week, and I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday night than at Chop Suey listening to the dark shredder Andrea Lukic scream her head off against a backdrop of muted bass and distorted grunge riffs. And whats even more exciting is knowing that the Oly noise-pop outfit Broken Water and the arty racket masters in Haunted Horses will be opening up the show (Haunted Horses have recently been described to me as "Nine Inch Nails meets Bauhaus, in the best possible way.")

I am also dying to pick up a copy of the Coathangers/Nü Sensae split 7" at the show, which was just released on the local label Suicide Squeeze. Have a listen to their song "Throw," and see you in the pit!
