Silas Blak and the History of 206 History

I ran into Blak at Beacon Hill Station on Saturday (sun in the sky, Red Apple across the street, The Station down the road) and I asked him what he was up to beside Black Stax. He said that he and Rob Castro had put together this compilation, 1986 closet manifestos/slowburn.

...which is available here and is a combination of a late 00s EP1986 and 6 unreleased tracks from the early 00s. Time has not touched any of the hiphop on this album. And Blak's hiphop is consistently modern, angular, and complex.
