206 Rappers With Cameras

This will be happening at the Town Hall in the near future...
The premise behind Geo’s collaborative photography project Rappers W/ Cameras is inspiringly simple: “We are not photographers. We are rappers. With cameras.” And the backstory is just as cool: A while back, Geo began working with fellow Seattle rapper Thig Natural (The Physics)—initially just on a handful of songs, until they discovered a mutual interest in photography, particularly analog film cameras. Before long, they started hosting Rappers W/ Cameras parties at their studio to showcase their work to friends and to show music videos in progress. After a few parties, they published the first of their photo zines (also titled Rappers W/ Cameras).The event, which occurs on March 21, will be a performance and a photo exhibition.
