I love this video so much:
LA's Bambu has been working with Blue Scholar #1 Prometheus Brown for some time; they even have a group called the Bar—this joint is from Bambu's solo album One Rifle Per Family. This video blends some choice ’90s R&B video moves with an imaginary sitcom from the same era, based around a Filipino family (which I wish had really existed). So many great and true details: the angry-ass, snoopy landlady! (Man. Been there.) Older bro & cousin mad at little sis (flirting with a white boy in the library)! And the old classic: hiding the money in a book.
