Yesterday, the mayor of Seattle stopped by the first annual Adobo Fest, an event sponsored by the cafe The Station (the current center of local hiphop and Beacon Hill society) and hosted by Prometheus Brown (Geo of the Blue Scholars, the group that made Macklemore even possible).
What Prometheus Brown had to say about McGinn: "He is up here [on Beacon Hill] so much that I actually see him as a friend more than a mayor." As for Luis Rodriguez, the Mexican American owner of the Station (he also owns Beacon Hill Sandwiches): "It's just good to see him at an event like this. It shows we are on his radar."
