It's September 30th, 2013 And You're in a Rad Garage Band - The Deepest Blue

Lordy this sweet punker has been comped everywhere, and for good reason.

The Deepest Blue were in fact the Doves, from Pomona, California. They changed their name when they released their 45, to give it a more "commercial" edge. The 45 sank, but they did continue recording, hopeful for an LP. Two of the tracks,“I Found Out” and “Living My Love Game,” were issued on 45 as by the Egyptian Candy. With no success, the band split. Member Chris Darrow would later be part of (the American) Kaleidoscope where he'd re-recorded both Egyptian Candy tracks as Kaleidoscope jams.
