Benefit Show for Comet Tavern Staff This Wednesday!

Posted by on Mon, Oct 7, 2013 at 11:25 AM

You've probably heard: The Comet Tavern is closed. Verdict's still out on whether or not it's a temporary or permanent closure—the latest news doesn't look good, though.

While it's sad to lose the Comet for so many reasons, most importantly is the fact that this sudden closure means the bar's staff are suddenly left without a paycheck. That sucks! So the nice folks in Skullbot, Smashie Smashie, and Seminars have turned this Wednesday's show at the Highline into a benefit show to help raise money for the Comet staff.

The show's $6, but if you can spare more, I'm sure they won't turn away any extra donations. Way to look out for each other, friends. Hopefully more follow suit.
