I was at this show, the last show for the Richmond, Virginia underground band, Honor Role. The bill that night also included Corrosion of Conformity as headliners. COC was debuting a new line-up which really only served to solidify they were a full-on metal band, so...uh, most folks were there to see Honor Role's final show. Also at the show was a pal who, smartly, recorded the show on his mom's VHS camcorder!! Well, in the last few years, he sourced and remixed the soundboard audio and then synced his video with the soundboard audio. I'm waiting to hear back if there might be a commercial release. Until then here is an audio clip...THIS is what Honor Role sounded like LIVE at full bore.
Also, here is yet more proof there was not really a thing which was "grunge," bless Everett True, natch, but it was a misplaced term. Still is. There was no uh, Seattle sound, post-hardcore HEAVY was everywhere at the same time (and had been for years).
