It's December 9th, 2013 And You're in a Rad Garage Band - Bunker Hill

This 1963 Bunker Hill B-side, "The Girl Can't Dance," is easily one of the hollerin'est and screamin'est frantic throwdowns ever committed to styrene by anyone, anywhere...EVER!! Oh, his backing band was the mighty Link Wray & His Wraymen.

David Walker, AKA Bunker Hill, was actually a member of the popular gospel singing group Mighty Clouds Of Joy. He only took a stab at secular music after meeting Mr. Vernon Wray. Vernon, turns out, was brother to the infamous Link Wray, and that's how Walker/Hill came to be backed by Link Wray & the Wraymen. In all they recorded four more songs: "Hide And Seek," "You Can't Make Me Doubt My Baby," "Red Ridin' Hood And The Wolf," and "Nobody Knows."
