Birdsall Text Recs: Hounds of Hate, White Wards, and Wet Tonight at the Black Lodge

Posted by on Sun, Jan 26, 2014 at 3:10 PM

My friend Birdsall has great taste and is an expert on the finest hardcore/metal shows happening around town. Tonight, she recommends hitting Black Lodge for Hounds of Hate, White Wards, and Wet.

I recommend you take her recommendations.

<——— Here is our text message conversation about this show. I took out the part where she asked me if I was going to the Ying Tang Twins tonight in Fremont and I said yes (After Slogging up the Grammy Awards of course) and she then described Fremont as "so pleasant during the day, but once it gets dark it's like The Town That Dreaded Sundown."

Here's the Facebox link for this show, bring cash for merch!

I heard White Wards on their bandcamp and they bring it real hard in a early Black Flag/Negative Approach hybrid sort of way. That being said, I wish these bands would put their music on cd as well. It's kinda difficult to listen to vinyl in a car.

This comment is a bit late I know, but if they have a Bandcamp page you could always pay to download the songs and then burn a CD. Eh, sport?
