You Probably Want to Hear This John Fahey Mixtape from the '90s

A generous person on Soundcloud writes: "In the 1990's my future wife was a record store clerk in Portland, Oregon. American guitar legend John Fahey was living in a nearby town and would visit the shop. Here are two mix cassettes that he made for her during that time."

Now you have more than three hours of avant-folk guitarist John Fahey's record collection and musical taste to absorb and dissect. Pretty sure he starts with two Sun City Girls tracks and then (I think) a grand violin-drone piece by Tony Conrad. Make yourselves comfortable; this is going to be a strange one...
