In the Heat of the Moment: Seattle Improvised Music Festival

Posted by on Thu, Feb 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM

(Chapel Performance Space) There will be field recordings. Trombones. Autoharps. Guitars and clarinets and piano and turntable and dub plate. We cannot tell you what else will happen at 2014's Seattle Improvised Music Festival, for obvious reasons. Check out one of the few weekends of musicks made while being played. There are musicians from across North America and Europe (including Joe Morris, Andrea Neumann, Bonnie Jones), plus Seattle stars like Bill Horist, Beth Fleenor, and Paul Kikuchi.

And here's all our recommended music events—tonight, tomorrow, this weekend, and beyond!
