Tickets / Tip Wilco Tickets Just Went On Sale

Wilco will be playing the Paramount on February 10th, and tickets just went on special "internet only" pre-sale five minutes ago. If you're following @SEAshows on Twitter, then you already know the access code. If you're not, well, maybe it's time you do.

(Speaking of SEAshows, it might also be helpful to you if you're hoping to see Kid Sister at Neumos next week for FREE.)

Twitter is handy for a number of reasons—you know when your friend's cat barfed, you know when your co-worker is faking a sick day, and now you can also find out about local shows the moment tickets become available!

Just follow SEAshows, The Stranger's Twitter feed of ticket info for Seattle's music scene, and get instant information from dozens of local clubs, including their latest show date additions, ticket sale information, and even pre-sale passwords.

Tickets / News / Tip The Jealous Sound to Support Sunny Day Real Estate on Fall Tour

As if seeing Sunny Day Real Estate won't be awesome enough, now the Jealous Sound have been added to the bill. I'm a fan of the Jealous Sound—Kill Them With Kindness is a great record to listen to on a summer's day. I'm listening now, in fact.

Speaking of the Sunny Day reunion: Tickets for Seattle's October 16th show at the Paramount officially go on sale tomorrow at 10 am via Ticketmaster, but the pre-sale started today and will be going until 10 pm tonight. Tickets are $28 before service fees, and you can buy them here. The password is theend (many thanks to Harms for that one).

Tickets Today Only: 2-for-1 Tickets to X at the Showbox

X is playing Showbox at the Market April 10 (21+) and April 11 (all ages). This tour is the "Total Request Live" tour, meaning fans get to choose the setlist by voting for their favorite songs at xtheband.com (according to the website, the polls will open today). Any other day of the week, a pair of tickets will knock you back about $50 before Ticketmaster service charges, but for today only, ~~you can get a pair of tickets for just $25~~.
