      <![CDATA[They get away with it because venues like The Showbox continue to use them even when there are cheaper local options like Brown Paper Tickets and Ticketswest. Music fans need to give venues that use Ticketmaster shit, continuously, for gouging music fans with unneeded and unnecessary extra fees. And how the City of Seattle can go this with Seattle Center events I just don't understand, shouldn't the city have to take competitive bids and choose the cheaper option?  What's the point in making us pay $5 or $10 more with Ticketmaster to go to Bumbershoot or rollerderby? I can't think One Reel or the Rat City Rollergirls appreciate the extra high ticket fees their fans pay that they see none of.
