My favorite LP story involves the bands' late-90's performance on The Jenny Jones Show (!) where they were told by producers not to play the song "Manpark" because of its theme of anonymous gay sex. So, instead, they played the even-gayer cut "The Bears" and nobody blinked. Since the show was filmed in Chicago, it went over their heads, I guess. And no, this clip is not on YouTube.

Also, if you've never heard Craig Finn's techno project The Brokerdealer from 2000, it's worth a listen.
