This Friends and Enemies stuff is really stupid.

I agree a bit with #1. Your enemy list is funnier than Slog's, (Kiss 106.1 and Insane Clown Posse). I just don't think they should attack other local blogs. Ahem.

That wasn't the point of my need to comment, however. I was really just curious why you listed Belle and Sebastian as an enemy?

Interesting that Pitchfork is on both lists.

@2, see @3.

I was surprised that Megan Selig was not listed on the enemies list. Every time she posts we all suffer.

You should get Scott Colburn to come guest blog in defense of ICP.

Belle & Sebastian in the enemies column? Did Frizzelle get ousted as editor already?

Posted by josh | October 9, 2007 8:38 AM

What's wrong with Showbox SODO? Is it just because you can't walk there from Capitol Hill?

Posted by Explorer | October 9, 2007 10:40 AM

There's nothing wrong with Showbox SODO. It's on there as a joke because Showbox at the Market is a friend. Get it? Ha.

As for Belle & Sebastian, they're an enemy because Mayonnaise is a friend. All is explained here.

kerri, spector may be a genius, any he may have contributed vastly to the pop music pantheon, but hes a freakin psycho. would you wanna have beers w that guy?

Posted by jz | October 9, 2007 1:22 PM

clearly the weekly's "reverb festival" should be an enemy, or are you still trying to pretend it didn't happen?

disgustingly petty that you didn't assign a single writer or photographer & it took slog commenters to even bring it up here.

i would TOTALLY have beers with phil spector. maybe not at his house alone but i would love to talk to that dude. i mean, yeah, he's crazy. but, still. WALL OF SOUND.
