you got to have 'in the rain' by the dramatics on blast. using the rain to hide your tears = so, so emo.

MCD=yuck. Try some real garage rock. Teengenerate makes you walk fast. The Gories are a solid choice for inclement weather and surveying urban wastelands (Sovereignty Flight, Stranded).

The Doors' Riders On The Storm would be perfect for that part of town on a grey rainy day.

I would not recommend doing anything on or near a train track with an iPod blasting in your ears. Those fuckers will sneak up on you.

The weather had been real shitty here the last few which prompted a re-discovery of the first two Die Kreuzen records. Those things just don't let up.

Teengenerate and the Gories, nice!

I think Christopher Frizzelle is the sexiest man in Seattle. That he shares my appreciation for industrial zone aesthetic confirms it.

Or you could go newer with King Khan & BBQ Show. Those guys can kill it and it's messy as HELL.

And funny! They are very funny old men.

And then there's that line in that MCD song where he says, "Nate's pissing off the 10th floor..."
