Wax Poetics Rocks Out

posted by on August 15 at 11:51 AM

One of the best music mags extant, Wax Poetics, is devoting its 30th issue to rocka first for the beat-hound/crate-digger bible. A Bad Brains/Elvis P. cover? Nutty. Get the details here. Im already salivating over the Turkish rock piece.

My beloved subscription copy is going to my old address in California, so I must wait for it to be forwarded by my ex-roommate. You have no idea how painful this is.

That Melvyn Price record they just released (Rhythm and Blues) is also worth a listen or two, at least for those who like the congas...and who doesn't?
