I hate to be Mr. Obvious, but it must be said immediately: First, good work, Mr. Anonymous! You've cracked the code! How dare young-ass upstart bullshit bands even try. Where the fuck do they think they come from, trying to make a name for themselves?! Don't these bitch-ass punk kids know that true bands, true music is an amalgamation of the ether and the North Pole, exploded into a hypoxic zenith of strangulated angels basking in the eclipse of God himself!? Don't. they. know!?

Fuck kids.

I haven't heard enough of each band to form an opinion. However, if you're going to write a publication/website, call someone out and sign your message "anonymous," you don't even deserve to be heard.

Shame on you guys for publishing the words of a coward.

Signed, the only guy on Slog/Line Out using his full name (minus the middle one, which is Charles, so there you go.)

John Richards of KEXP manages The New Faces. The New Faces get tons of play on KEXP. Thus, The New Faces and John Richards are part of the Seattle Hipster Friends Network.

What else is new.

Is that the best response you have to this Frizelle?

I think McLusky settled this argument already:

"My band is better than your band we take more drugs than a touring funk band, BRING IT!"

I love that McLusky lyric. "Fuck This Band" has some choice lines, too, like: "Fuck this band / 'cause they swear too much / it's an obvious ploy / and irresponsible." ("Bring it" is actually "sing it," but either one works just fine.)
